Longroad was founded in 2001 as a special situations private investment partnership. Our senior team has more than 100 years combined experience at creating solutions to the most complex and difficult business challenges, and has successfully invested in companies with combined sales in excess of $1.5 billion.

We have a proven record of stabilizing, growing and enhancing the value of our portfolio businesses through giving managers the financial, strategic and operational resources they need to thrive.
We have invested in portfolio companies through such diverse means as direct equity investments, corporate and management buyouts, sponsoring plans of reorganization, purchasing assets in 363 sales (both as stalking horse and as competing bidder), proposing CCAA/Chapter 11 restructurings, refinancing senior debt and purchasing corporate carve-outs.
We work extensively with our management and employee partners to build wealth by implementing effective board oversight, arranging financings, pursuing add-on acquisitions and enabling off-shore sourcing. Longroad and its principals are active members of the ACG, TMA, ABI, CFA and other leading industry groups.
